Please read these Terms of Service carefully before downloading or using ChargePilot. By using the app or this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About ChargePilot
ChargePilot is a macOS application that helps you monitor your MacBook's battery health. It is developed and sold by:

2. License
ChargePilot is licensed, not sold. When you download or purchase ChargePilot, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal or professional use on your own Mac computers.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense ChargePilot to others.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Remove or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices.
- Use ChargePilot in any way that violates applicable law.
3. Free and Pro Tiers
ChargePilot is free to use with core features available at no cost. A one-time purchase unlocks ChargePilot Pro features. The direct-download version includes a 14-day free trial of the Pro features; after the trial ends, the app continues to work with the free feature set.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. Your purchase is subject to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with ChargePilot Pro within 30 days of purchase, contact us at hello@getchargepilot.app for a full refund, no questions asked.
5. Updates and Support
We may release updates to ChargePilot from time to time. Updates may add or remove features. We will provide reasonable support via email but do not guarantee response times or resolution of all issues.
6. macOS Compatibility
ChargePilot is designed for macOS. We strive to support current and recent macOS versions, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with future OS releases or all hardware configurations.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
ChargePilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Battery monitoring involves complex system interactions — always monitor your device and use the app at your own discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of ChargePilot, including but not limited to damage to your device, data loss, or lost profits.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts competent for our seat in Peenehagen, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ChargePilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
